WFit is a walking and fitness app. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Location while a session is running | To measure the distance and draw the route of your walk | Walkers servers, linked to your account |
| Motion and fitness (step count) | To count your steps and work out your daily progress | Walkers servers, linked to your account |
| Email address | It identifies your account and is how you sign in | Walkers servers |
| Activity, meal and water logs | To show your history and work out your daily XP | WFit servers, linked to your account |
| Workouts and heart rate from Apple Health / Health Connect | Only if you turn Health Sync on, so workouts recorded by your watch count in WFit | WFit servers, linked to your account |
| Messages you send the AI coach | To generate a reply | Passed to our AI provider, not used to train any model |
| Diagnostic logs | To help us fix bugs when you send a report | Stays on your phone until you choose to share it |
WFit only reads your location while you have started a session and a notification is showing that tracking is active. It does not track you in the background at other times, and it does not build a picture of where you go day to day. Stopping the session stops the tracking.
Health Sync is off until you switch it on, and you can switch it off at any time in the app or in your phone's settings. When it is on, WFit reads two things: completed workouts (which sport, how long, distance and calories) and the heart rate recorded during them.
WFit does not read your step count from Health, because it already counts your steps itself and reading them again would double them. It does not read anything medical: no conditions, no medications, no lab results. It never writes anything back into your health data.
Health data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with third parties. It is not stored in iCloud.
WFit runs on top of the Walkers platform, which holds your account, your step history and your level. A small number of services help the app work:
Your logs and XP history stay until you delete them or delete your account. Diagnostic logs on your phone keep only the most recent entries and are cleared when you reinstall the app.
You can delete your account from inside the app: Profile → Account → Delete Account. That permanently removes your logs, XP history and padel matches from our servers.
Your Walkers account, including your step history and points, is held by Walkers rather than by us. To close that as well, email us and we will pass the request on.
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address below and we will respond.
WFit is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so in the app rather than quietly updating this page.
